The Math club at the University of South Florida (USF) is the USF chapter of the Mathematical Association of America.
The mission of the Math Club is three fold:
- Provide a platform for undergraduates as well as graduate students to present their papers, research, or ideas.
- Facilitate formal as well as informal interaction between faculty and students.
- Harbor an interest in Mathematics outside of the classroom.
In reaching the above goals, the Math club organizes a talk at the regular bi-weekly meetings. These meetings are also used to inform students about and encourage participation in Mathematics competitions and other Math related events. In addition, the Math club picnic organized each semester and the problem of the month are highlights of the club. Further information about club events can found in the events page of this website.
